Waffle House Coming To Hilltop Corridor In Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. — Waffle House is coming to the Hilltop area of Jonesboro, adding a 24-hour dining option near one of the city’s busiest medical corridors.

The new restaurant will be located just east of the NEA Baptist Health System campus, according to an announcement from Haag Brown Commercial on Facebook. It will be the third Waffle House location in Jonesboro.

The announcement said the location will help fill a need in the growing Hilltop corridor, where there are currently no true 24-hour dining options in the immediate area near the hospital campus.

For medical workers, patient families, and visitors leaving NEA Baptist late at night or early in the morning, the restaurant is expected to provide a nearby option for coffee and food at all hours, the release said.

Haag Brown Commercial credited Zac Qualls with helping bring the national brand to Hilltop. The company also said momentum from the project has helped drive interest in nearby property, with a neighboring lot now pending.

Additional announcements about the Hilltop area are expected in the future.
