JONESBORO, Ark. — A stolen vehicle, a dispensary with windows shot out, and a convenience store burglary are all believed to be tied together in a series of crimes under investigation in Jonesboro.
The first report was made around 4:20 AM on April 21, 2026, when police responded to a glass-break alarm at Gee Street Market, 520 S. Gee Street.
The report stated that a suspect shot the glass out of the front door.
Authorities believe a 9mm was used to shoot the glass out. The suspect stole Newport cigarettes, a box of Pom Poms, and Vuse Pods.
The vehicle involved was a newer-model blue Kia Sportage. The suspect is described as around 6’2″, 180 pounds, with a slender build and light complexion. He appeared to be right-handed.
It was a short time later that the second report began, when police responded to a burglary alarm at The Vault, 1707 Visions Avenue in Jonesboro.
A glass break at the front door was observed by the patrol officer responding. The report says a suspect shot out the window to gain entry.
The report lists a theft as being committed, but does not specifically state what was taken.
Once again, the blue Kia Sportage was reported at the scene.
Shortly before 10 AM, a third police report was made, this time by the owner of the Kia Sportage, reporting it stolen.
Police say the vehicle was found on the northbound ramp from Harrisburg Road to I-555. Officers found a Pom Pom box and a package of cannabis, consistent with the items stolen, the report says.
On Tuesday, JPD posted the crimes in a “Tattle Tell Tuesday” on their Facebook page.
