JONESBORO, Ark. – Three SkyCop units were installed today in Jonesboro.
The latest installed units are located at the intersection of Nettleton and Hester, the first entrance on Gladiolus Drive, and the intersection of Caraway and Glen Place.
The city is up to nine camera systems as of this article. Each records multiple camera angles and provides police with both a live video and a digital video recorder of activity in areas that a need has been felt in.
In addition to the latest three locations, Jonesboro also has camera systems at these six spots:
- Cedar Heights and Melrose
- Cedar Heights and Belt
- Race at Fairview
- Craighead Forest Park
- West Nettleton
- Parker Park Community Center
