JONESBORO, Ark. – A male victim is in stable condition at a local hospital tonight in Jonesboro after suffering a single stab wound earlier in the evening.
The police responded to Rogers Monday evening to the call, JPD’s Public Information Specialist told NEA Report. The exact time wasn’t specified.
The victim’s girlfriend called 911. Apparently, the initial call wasn’t certain on if the wound was by gunshot or stabbing, Smith said.
Officers arrived to find a black male victim stabbed in the back, once. He was treated on scene and then sent to a local hospital.
As of 9:30 PM, Smith said he was in stable condition.
There is a search for a suspect but not much is known about the assailant.
