Shots fired early Thursday on Monroe in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Police are investigating an early Thursday morning shooting in Jonesboro that involved property damage but no injuries.

The shooting was confirmed by Sally Smith, JPD’s Public Information Specialist. She said at about 3:30 AM Thursday morning, Dec. 26, shots were fired at the 1000-block of Monroe.

“3:39 AM was the first call,” Smith said.

No injuries were reported from the incident. Property damage was the only result of the gunfire, Smith said.
