
JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspect in a string of recent vehicle break-ins had a search warrant executed at his home on Tuesday and was arrested with stolen property, guns, and drugs.
Preston Davis, 18, is the name of the vehicle break-in suspect captured on video and first reported by NEA Report here, according to a release from the Jonesboro Police Department. He’s in jail as of Wednesday morning.

The press release said officers executed a successful bust in north Jonesboro on Tuesday. It resulted in the recovery of several thousand dollars worth of stolen property and drugs. It also led to several cases being closed closed.
Davis was identified as the suspect in several BNE cases after a tip from a JPD patrol officer, police said.
The Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at his home. They recovered several stolen firearms, weapons, hunting and fishing equipment, drugs and paraphernalia, law enforcement equipment, and over $1000 in various bills.

Davis was arrested. He was booked into Craighead County Detention Center at 7:15 PM Tuesday.
JPD said he will be charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of sch I or II not meth or cocaine, possession of Sch VI with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by receiving firearm, possession of sch IV or V, breaking or entering, and theft of $1000 or less.
Update: Davis’ Facebook profile was filled with items for sale ranging from watches to cameras. His Facebook profile photo also included one of the victims who filed a report about his car being broken into.
