JONESBORO, Ark. – Police in Jonesboro need help identifying a man that pranced into a Jonesboro quick stop last September and stuck a gun in an employees face.
It happened late at night, 10:45 PM on September 21, 2018. It was a Friday night and although the suspect dressed for the cold, it was as warm as 76 degrees Fahrenheit that night, off from the 92 degree high of the day. The suspect, however, dressed with most of his skin covered, wearing a black beanie and a black paisley bandanna over his face. He wore long sleeve shirts, brown gloves, black pants, and black sneakers with white bottoms.
In the video, he runs into the store and immediately shouts at the cashier “don’t move” twice.
“Give me the money. Give me the right now. Open it before I beat yo ass,” the criminal says as he holds the gun over the victim in a threatening manner.
His voice is distinctly heard on the video. Although it’s tough to see him, he appears and sounds like a younger African American male.
Please contact Det. Brian Arnold with the Jonesboro Police Department 870-935-6710 or call CrimeStoppers at 935-STOP (7867) with any information about the suspect.
Which quick shop? “BEAT YO ASS” Uh definitely an African American Male!
