
JONESBORO, Ark. – A man is suspected of trafficking child pornography and he’s facing a serious charge because of it.
Investigators with the Jonesboro Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division arrested Jason A. Wilkins, 42, of Jonesboro for Distributing, Possessing, or Viewing of Matter Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving a Child.
The three week long investigation began after Wilkins was brought to the attention of the ICAC Investigators through his on line activities. A substantial amount of computer hardware that contained child pornography was collected as evidence from Wilkins’ home, JPD said in a press release.

Investigators served three search warrants through the course of the investigation which lead them to 713 West Jefferson where Jason A. Wilkins was taken into custody and numerous items of evidence were collected.
Wilkins will be taken before a Judge today for a Probable Cause Hearing for the above listed charge, which is a Class C Felony that could leave Wilkins with a Penalty and Fine of up to $10,000 and/or three to ten years in prison.
