Eight bottles of pills reported stolen from nurse

JONESBORO, Ark. – A travel nurse staying in a St. Bernard’s Hospital guest house reported eight bottles of medication stolen before her stay had concluded, last week.

Just after noon on Friday, April 21, Jonesboro Police Department Officer David Stout was dispatched to the overnight guest house at St. Bernard’s Hospital in reference to a theft which had already occurred. He met with the complainant – a travel nurse from Little Rock.

The nurse’s misfortune began when she had to go to a laundromat to wash her clothing due to a bed bug infestation she reported finding in her room at the guest house. She noticed her bag of medicine missing but assumed she had left it in the vehicle, the report says, but it was in the guest house.

The report goes on to say she stayed that evening in a local hotel room and the next day, returned to the guest house to find her medicine bag empty.
Unknown dosages and pill amounts were taken but among the prescriptions stolen were:

  • Lexapro
  • Phenergan
  • Hydrazine
  • Oxycotin
  • Ambien
  • Oxycodone
  • Mobic
  • Xanax
