Arrest made in Valero robbery

JONESBORO, Ark. Police have arrested one suspect in Wednesday morning’s robbery of the Valero station/convenience store at 1708 West Nettleton Ave.

Through investigation, Jonesboro police detectives identified Monqrea Buchanan, 18, of Jonesboro, as a suspect in the crime. Detective Joe Robinson on Thursday obtained a bench warrant from the District Court for Buchanan’s arrest and on Thursday night, Street Crimes Unit officers took Buchanan into custody.
