Food Bank to Distribute Infant Formula Friday in Jonesboro

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will distribute infant formula Friday, Oct. 9, at Allen Park Community Center in Jonesboro. No photo ID is required, and anyone in need may participate while supplies last.

JONESBORO, Ark. — The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will distribute infant formula Friday, Oct. 9, to help households struggling to afford or obtain formula for their infants.

The drive-through distribution is scheduled for 8 to 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Allen Park Community Center, 3609 Race St. in Jonesboro. It will end earlier if supplies run out.

The distribution is open to anyone in need, regardless of county of residence, according to a news release from the food bank.

No photo identification is required. Recipients will be asked to provide basic information, including their name, address and county of residence.

The food bank will distribute milk-based, ready-to-drink Similac Dual Prebiotic Blend with Iron formula in 8-ounce bottles packaged in six-pack bundles.

The nonprofit provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families across 12 counties in Northeast Arkansas.
