Man Accused of Repeated Lowe’s Thefts in Jonesboro, Bond Set at $100,000

Marvin White is accused of joining another suspect in three thefts from Lowe’s in Jonesboro involving about $2,375 in merchandise. His bond was set at $100,000 cash or surety with GPS monitoring.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A man accused of participating in three thefts from Lowe’s in Jonesboro had his bond set at $100,000 cash or surety with GPS monitoring in an Oct. 14 court order.

Marvin White faces allegations involving merchandise valued at about $2,375 taken during visits to the store in November 2024 and March 2025, according to a probable cause affidavit signed by Jonesboro Police Detective Madison Dobbs.

Three Store Visits Detailed

A Lowe’s employee went to the Jonesboro Police Department on March 20, 2025, to report multiple thefts. The employee told police that White and another suspect, Meoshia Neal, had been arrested in Memphis and had already confessed to the thefts, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit describes three incidents:

On Nov. 13, 2024, White and Neal allegedly arrived at the store, obtained a flat cart and selected two Husqvarna blowers valued at $698. Police allege the pair cut off the security devices and left without paying.

On Nov. 21, 2024, White allegedly selected a Husqvarna blower and placed it on a cart. Neal then used bolt cutters to cut the blower’s security wire before cutting a lock from a cage containing generators, according to the affidavit. A Craftsman 2,200-watt inverter generator was removed from the cage and placed on the cart, and the pair left without paying for merchandise valued at $1,301.88, police allege.

On March 18, 2025, the pair allegedly concealed a paint sprayer, three bottles of bleach and a ceiling fan, then left the store without paying. The affidavit lists the value of those items at $375.19.

Charges and Bond

White’s first-appearance paperwork lists a Class D felony theft charge involving property valued at more than $1,000 but no more than $5,000; breaking or entering involving a container, apparatus or equipment; Class A misdemeanor first-degree criminal mischief; and Class A misdemeanor theft involving property valued at $1,000 or less.

The Oct. 14 probable cause order set White’s bond at $100,000 cash or surety and required a GPS ankle monitor. The order cites his lack of ties to Craighead County, out-of-state residence, allegations that he made multiple trips to steal from a local business and similar charges in Shelby County, Tennessee.

His next court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Nov. 23 at the Craighead County Courthouse in Jonesboro, according to the first-appearance paperwork.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
