JONESBORO, Ark. — Craighead County Justice of the Peace Garrett Barnes will host his next Town Hall on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Round Room of the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library located at 315 W Oak Avenue. Attendees should enter from Madison Street.
Since being sworn into office on Jan. 1, 2023, Barnes has hosted more than 10 public Town Hall meetings to provide updates, answer questions about county government, and receive feedback from constituents.
The event will begin with an update on the Craighead County Quorum Court. At 6:15 p.m., Barnes will be joined by Ethan Ivy of Safety First for Jonesboro to discuss the Jonesboro public safety ballot question. At 6:45 p.m., Barnes will be joined by Robin Martin of Citizens Taxed Enough to discuss the Craighead County ballot question concerning eliminating the office of the Craighead County Treasurer.
The event is open to the public and media. Attendees are welcome to livestream the Town Hall or share portions of the event on their personal social media accounts.
