Jonesboro Suspect Faces Two Separate Felony Domestic Violence Cases

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro suspect is facing two separate felony cases stemming from alleged domestic violence incidents, according to court documents.

In the first case, officers responded Feb. 10, 2026, to a residence on Calion Street regarding a domestic disturbance. The alleged victim told officers that Dillon Anderson, 30, made multiple verbal death threats, including statements such as “I’m going to risk it all. I ain’t got shit to lose. I’m going to kill you then I’m going to the next and finish everybody off.”

According to the affidavit, the alleged victim said Anderson then intentionally struck the victim’s forehead with his own head. Officers reported observing a visible “knot” and significant swelling on the victim’s forehead consistent with that account.

A background check showed Anderson pleaded guilty on Oct. 10, 2022, to aggravated assault on a family or household member. Due to that prior conviction, the current charge of domestic battery in the third degree is being enhanced to a felony.

In that case, Anderson is charged with domestic battery in the third degree, multiple offenses within five years, and first-degree terroristic threatening, both Class D felonies. Bail was set at $50,000 by Judge Barbara Halsey.

In a separate case filed Feb. 15, 2026, officers responded again to Calion St. for another domestic disturbance. The alleged victim told officers Anderson tried to kill her and became angry when confronted about speaking to other men. The affidavit states Anderson began strangling the victim while doing dishes and telling her she was going to die. The alleged victim was able to get free and flee the apartment to seek help.

Officers noted the alleged victim was crying and shaking while speaking with them and had red marks on her neck and scratches.

Authorities also noted Anderson had prior convictions for terroristic threatening in the first degree and aggravated assault on a family or household member on Oct. 10, 2022. At the time of that arrest, Anderson also had an active warrant out of Craighead County for terroristic threatening in the first degree and domestic battery in the third degree involving the same victim, according to the affidavit.

In the second case, Anderson is charged with aggravated assault on a family or household member, first-degree terroristic threatening and domestic battery in the third degree, all Class D felonies. A separate bail was set at $75,000 by Judge Barbara Halsey.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
