Police: Bono Woman Shared CSAM, Talked About Adopting Victims

BONO, Ark. — A Bono woman is accused of sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Snapchat in messages where she also claimed to be looking for children – possibly through adoption – to sexually abuse.

Nichole Anna Ley, 48, of Bono, appeared before Judge Tommy Fowler on Friday in Craighead County District Court, facing at least two charges of distributing or possessing CSAM, a Class C felony. The judge and chief deputy prosecutor noted additional charges may be filed.

Fowler, noting his concern over the allegations, set bail at $250,000 cash or surety with a GPS ankle monitor required, due to the suspect having plans to move out of state.

The probable cause affidavit contains language too graphic to republish here. It states that on Nov. 4, 2025, a cybertip was received from the Arkansas State Police about CSAM being uploaded to Snapchat two months prior.

The disturbing content showed a child between the ages of 8 to 10 being sexually assaulted by an adult woman.

Police traced the account back to Nicole Ley with an IP address returning to her internet service provider. A search warrant led police to find additional CSAM videos, including one showing a child between the ages of 8 and 9.

A conversation on Snapchat was also recorded between “nley77” and “jasonmedic4”, with Ley sharing both CSAM videos. In the chat, Ley allegedly states, “we need young…” and uses slang for female and male genitalia.

Police said Jasonmedic4 stated, “I want to find someone for us,” to which Ley replied, “Me to…thinking adopting would be best.” to which Jasonmedic4 said, “Yes I agree. Then we can groom them.”

Police obtained a bench warrant and arrested Ley on Dec. 4. After she was advised of her rights, authorities say that she admitted to sending video of a nude child under the age of 11. The affidavit also says she spoke about how she had a conversation with the subject she identified as “Jeff” on Snapchat about possibly adopting a child to groom.

Ley is ordered to remain in Arkansas if she is released on bond. She is also prohibited from using a device that can access the internet, including cell phones and smart TVs.

Her next court date is January 23, 2026.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
