Former Candidate Jeremy Terrell Endorses LJ Bryant for Mayor

JONESBORO, Ark. — The third-place winner in the race for Jonesboro mayor has endorsed a candidate in the run-off election.

Jeremy Terrell endorsed Jonesboro Councilman L.J. Bryant as his choice for mayor on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

“As a voter, and as someone who will be vocally holding whomever is mayor accountable, I believe it is my duty to vote. If I don’t vote, I can’t complain. With that being said, I think it is time to make a change. Remember that “We the People” are the ones in charge. Demand better from our public servants. LJ Bryant– make us proud to have you as our mayor. Take that position with the heart to serve as it was meant to be.” – Jeremy Terrell

Previously, candidate Thomas Elwood endorsed incumbent Mayor Harold Copenhaver in the runoff election.

Early voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Tuesday, Nov. 26, and continuing through Monday, Dec. 2 at the Craighead County Election Annex, 315 West Jefferson in Jonesboro.

The runoff election is Tuesday, Dec. 3.
