Baskin Robbins to Reopen in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. — Baskin Robbins is set to make a sweet return to Jonesboro, joining Stanton Optical in the newly redeveloped Premier Auto center on Red Wolf Boulevard, across from Starbucks.

Haag Brown Commercial announced the news on Monday, noting that the ice cream chain will occupy a 1,223-square-foot space in the modern multi-tenant center. Construction is expected to begin soon, with the opening planned for later this year.

Known for its “31 flavors,” Baskin Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty stores, boasting over 8,000 locations worldwide.

“For those who grew up with Baskin Robbins, it’s more than just ice cream—it’s a part of the Jonesboro community story,” said a spokesperson for Haag Brown Commercial. “It’s where the first tastes of independence, first crushes, and countless memorable family moments were had.”

Zac Qualls, Haag Brown Commercial’s executive broker, represented both the development’s owner, a longtime Haag Brown portfolio client and local developer, and the Baskin Robbins franchisee, a local restaurant owner/operator, in securing the long-term lease.

“The Premier Auto building redevelopment was the perfect location – excellent visibility, access from Red Wolf Boulevard, and a drive-thru end-cap will all make getting your favorite scoop of ice cream even easier! I know my girls can’t wait for them to open!” Qualls said.

The former car dealership in the heart of Jonesboro’s retail area is being renovated to create a modern multi-tenant center. Haag Brown Commercial plans to announce another new tenant addition to the redevelopment in the coming weeks.

Baskin Robbins’ return to Jonesboro promises to offer residents the chance to rediscover their favorite flavors and create new memories.
