Three Arrested with Stolen Playstation 5s and Video Games in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Three suspects ended up in police custody on charges including felony theft after they were stopped with eight stolen Playstation 5s and over 40 videogames over the weekend in Jonesboro.

Officer Cameron Kelemen conducted the traffic stop around 2:15 AM on Dec. 16 that led to the arrest. The officer reported observing a maroon 2011 Nissan Altima come from behind GameStop, 1810 E. Highland Drive. The vehicle had an improper display, the report said. Upon investigation, it became apparent that the situation was more than a mere traffic violation.

Law enforcement uncovered eight stolen Spiderman edition Playstation 5 consoles, valued at a total of $4,480, along with 43 assorted video games estimated to be worth approximately $973.

The arrested individuals were identified as Alexus Nicole Loves, 22, from Brookland, Benjamin Lee Wooten, 46, from Cleveland, TN, and Christy Nicole Hughes, 43, also from Cleveland, TN. All three suspects are facing charges for felony theft, falling between the range of $5,000 and $25,000.
