JONESBORO, Ark. – In a recent police operation, two individuals were apprehended and now face charges of possession with intent to deliver after law enforcement officers discovered a cache of illicit substances and paraphernalia within their residence.
The incident unfolded between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM on September 20, at an apartment located at 307 Melrose Street in Jonesboro. The suspects, Kentrall Dewayne Williams, aged 36, and Jacon Demetrius Brown, aged 28, both residents of Jonesboro, were taken into custody.
Upon conducting a thorough search of the residence, police recovered various pieces of evidence, including two digital scales, a box of plastic sandwich bags, eight crack rocks, powder cocaine, assorted pills, and marijuana.
Both individuals are currently detained at the Craighead County Detention Center. Charges include possession of meth or cocaine with purpose to deliver, possession of schedule IV or V with purpose to deliver, and other charges. Jail records indicate that Kentrall Dewayne Williams faces additional legal issues, as he is being held on a parole violation. Meanwhile, Jacon Demetrius Brown is subject to multiple warrants issued by external agencies.
