JONESBORO ā Authorities reported multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated (DWI) during the past several days in Jonesboro.
In an incident around 1 a.m. on August 5 near Clinton School Road, E Johnson, and US 49, officers responded to a car accident. The driver alleged a semi-truck forced him off the road. However, traffic camera footage contradicted the claim. Following a field sobriety test, Anil Bhavin Patel, 22, of Nashville, TN, was taken into custody on charges of DWI, filing a false report, refusal to submit, and careless driving.
About 30 minutes later, officers made another DWI arrest on Highland Drive. A traffic stop initiated due to near-misses with the curb revealed the vehicle was uninsured. Robbi Nicole Frazier, 36, of Jonesboro, faces charges including DWI, driving without a license, and lacking vehicle insurance.
Shortly after, around 3:21 a.m. near East Johnson and Red Wolf Boulevard, police stopped another vehicle. Heather Kaylee Inloes, 21, of Batesville, was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding, hazardous driving, not having insurance, and failing to produce a driver’s license.
In yet another incident on August 7, around 2:39 a.m. near Fox Meadow and Harrisburg, officers arrested Larry Neal Davis, 59, of Jonesboro, for DWI after reports indicated he left a residence in an inebriated state and drove away.
Authorities urge drivers to make responsible choices and not drink and drive.
