JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities in Jonesboro are currently investigating a report involving gunshots and the vandalism of a vehicle earlier this week.
The incident came to the attention of the Jonesboro Police Department (JPD) on June 27. At approximately 1 PM, officers were dispatched to the 200-block of Miller Street in response to a shooting.
While the specific details of the report have been redacted due to the ongoing investigation, preliminary information provided by the police indicates that a suspect discharged a firearm and proceeded to smash the windshield of a truck using channel locks.
