Investigation Underway into $42,000 Credit Card Fraud at Jonesboro’s Hampton Inn

JONESBORO, Ark. – A police report filed with the JPD details an incident of significant theft from a local hotel involving the fraudulent use of a credit card.

The incident occurred between June 6 and June 8 at Hampton Inn located at 2900 Phillips Drive.

According to the report, two male suspects, both residents of Jonesboro, were identified as the individuals who allegedly charged $42,000 to the account of Hampton Inn without authorization. The investigation is ongoing, and as of the last update to the report, no arrests have been made.

Atin Suri, Vice President of Jatin Investments, LLC, reached out after the story was published to communicate that no customer credit cards were compromised. The only affected account belonged to Hampton Inn.

The JPD is actively investigating the case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
