Aggressive driver fires gunshots, report says

JONESBORO, Ark. – A road rage incident described late Sunday in Jonesboro involved gunshots, a report with JPD said.

Jonesboro authorities responded around 10:22 PM on May 14 to the 1500-block of Meltzer Lane after multiple calls came in about gunshots going off. A woman, 52, and a younger male relative, 20, were the reported victims in the case. It wasn’t clear what sparked the tensions but the report says the unknown suspect was driving aggressively and discharged a firearm near the victims. Police located two 45 Auto silver casings.

The suspect was described as driving a white Chevrolet Silverado, 2008 to 2010 year model. The truck was specifically described as a four door leveled with black rims and all terrain tires.

The case was being investigated for possible charges of aggravated assault and felony terroristic act.
