JONESBORO, Ark. – A man was arrested over the weekend in Jonesboro on a felony charge for a shooting incident.
It happened around 12:37 AM on May 7 at the 1900-block of Links Circle. Police responded to a domestic disturbance call. An argument between spouses was the source of the disagreement, police noted. Most details in the report are masked but the incident report states that the arrestee shot at the victim inside the apartment.
Mareno Cortez Macklin, 37, of Jonesboro, was arrested and faces a felony aggravated assault on a family/household member charge. A 9mm was found behind a dresser in a bedroom and logged into evidence along with 12 bullets.
