Report: Armed suspects enter residence, assault, and steal from woman

JONESBORO, Ark. – An alarming report involving aggravated residential burglary, sexual assault, kidnapping and more was taken by police Sunday in Jonesboro.

It happened between 12:50 AM and 1:25 AM on April 30, the report released Monday by JPD said.  The location was masked as was most information in the report, due to the ongoing investigation. The report’s MO states that two suspects armed with deadly weapons entered a residence and stole from the victim, a 28-year-old female, with the “threat of death.” Two phones were stolen, totaling $1,250 in value. A $400 bicycle was also stolen but later recovered at the 1900-block of Wood Street.

Two suspects are listed in the report. The first is a Black/African American male, 16-26 years of age, around six feet tall and slender build. The second is a Black/African American male, 18-30 years of age, around six feet tall and also with a slender build.

Several officers and detectives were working on the case, logs show, but the investigative narrative remained masked as of Monday afternoon. The possible charges included aggravated residential burglary, second degree sexual assault, first degree terroristic threatening, kidnapping, aggravated assault, interference with emergency communication and fleeing.
