Burglars force their way into apartment at gunpoint

JONESBORO, Ark. – Several suspects are wanted by police for an aggravated residential burglary this week in Jonesboro in which a victim was struck with a pistol.

It happened around 10:51 PM on February 20 at the 300-block of Melrose Street. The report says that suspects forced their way into the home of a young couple and pistol whipped the female victim. She did not report an injury. $1,900 in cash, a stun gun, and a PlayStation joystick were reported stolen. Two ounces of marijuana were also reportedly taken.

Four suspects were listed in the police report. One of the suspects, 15, was arrested around 4:30 AM the following morning at his residence, the report says. At least one of the other suspects were thought to possibly be under age as well. The suspects face serious felonies including aggravated assault, aggravated residential burglary, and felony theft.
