
JONESBORO, Ark. – A shooting incident that was fortunately without injuries happened early Monday in Jonesboro, an incident report from JPD said.
Between 12:14 AM and 1:23 AM on February 20, a subject shot at an apartment building at the 2400-block of High Street. Damage was reported to a window, an exterior brick wall, and a mailbox.
Fortunately, no damage to human life was reported. However, several children were present during the tense events, including a 7-year-old and a 12-year-old, the report with JPD said.
Witnesses described three suspects to police, although much remained masked obscuring exactly how much was known. Two were listed as black male suspects and one was listed as a white male suspect. Multiple shell casings were collected and a round was extracted from the wall.
The report shows several officers and detectives working on the incident throughout the morning. The suspects face charges including felony terroristic act and felony endangering the welfare of a minor.
