JONESBORO, Ark. – Barnes & Noble bookstore will be returning to Jonesboro.
Barnes & Noble will occupy the previous Pier1 space, anchored by Office Max, within the Crossroads Shopping Center at the Caraway and Highland intersection, a release from Haag Brown Commercial said.

The national chain bookstore previously occupied space at The Mall at Turtle Creek. It was one of several stores destroyed by the March, 2020 tornado.
“Persistence was definitely the key to securing this deal. Getting Barnes & Noble back to Jonesboro has been a work in progress for me personally since March 2020, after the tornado hit our mall. I am so glad we’re finally able to make this announcement, as we know it has been a long time coming.”

The Crossroads Center will soon be redeveloped and rebranded as an extension of The Uptown, dubbed “The Uptown @ Crossroads,” the release said. Jeremy Gamble is the new owner of the Crossroads Center.
Through the combined teamwork of Zac Qualls, Haag Brown’s head of leasing, Joshua Brown, Haag Brown’s head of development, and Crossroads owner Jeremy Gamble this project was finally able to come to fruition
