Arrest made for child pornography charge in Jonesboro

A suspect was arrested this week in Jonesboro and charged with computer child pornography, police said in a release on social media.

On December 9, 2021, JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a CyberTip about a cell phone that was used to upload multiple child exploitation images.

An ICAC detective was able to obtain a search warrant for a Google account for Phillip Hollis.

Hollis was arrested on Thursday and charged with Computer Child Pornography.

He appeared in court for his Probable Cause Hearing and received a $250,000 bond.
