Glory 104.3 FM Plans Dec. 6 Launch in Jonesboro

Glory 104.3 FM plans to begin broadcasting Christian and gospel programming Dec. 6 in Jonesboro, with a worship service and ribbon-cutting reception marking the launch.

JONESBORO, Ark. — A new Christian and gospel radio station is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Jonesboro at midnight Sunday, Dec. 6, with a worship service and ribbon-cutting reception planned to mark the launch.

Glory 104.3 FM plans to offer gospel music, Christian teaching, inspirational programming and community content for listeners in Northeast Arkansas, according to a news release from the station.

The station is completing its transmission facilities and final technical preparations ahead of the planned sign-on. Its slogan is “Where God Gets All the Glory!”

Operations Manager LaGanzie Kale said the station wants to build connections with area churches, ministries, community organizations and residents.

“Radio has always been about more than just what comes out of the speakers. It’s about connecting with people, being a part of their everyday lives, and making a positive difference in the community,” Kale said.

“With Glory 104.3 FM, we’re building on that belief by creating a station that not only shares uplifting Gospel music and Christian programming, but also reflects the people and community we serve,” he said.

The station plans to combine over-the-air broadcasting with modern broadcast technology and automation, according to the release.

Launch Events

A public celebratory worship service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at New Life Empowerment Ministries, 2113 N. Church St. in Jonesboro.

The celebration will continue with a ribbon cutting and community reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at the Glory 104.3 FM studios, 1411 Franklin St.

The Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to conduct the ribbon cutting. Both events are open to residents, supporters, church leaders and other community members, according to the station.

The Rev. Greg Ota, the station’s director of theology, said its mission centers on sharing Christian messages through radio.

“Glory is a platform to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the airwaves for the empowerment of the community and enlightening the whole world,” Ota said.
