Jonesboro police responded to a stabbing that happened around 6:15 Sunday evening inside the Kroger Store on Caraway Road.
When police arrived, the suspect was immediately taken into custody while other officers rendered aid to the victim. The male victim was transported to an area hospital.
No update was provided on his status.
Police said in a release posted to Facebook that the investigation is ongoing. No further information was released at the time.
