Arrests made after Jonesboro armed bank robbery

Two suspects were arrested after a bank robbery involving gunfire happened Wednesday morning in Jonesboro.

Jonesboro police reported the incident in the 2700 block of East Nettleton at Southern Bank.

The suspect entered the bank a shortly before 10 a.m. and took an undisclosed amount of money.

A weapon was fired causing the front glass to shatter. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect fled the scene.

Lawrence Burnom, 52 of Little Rock, and Antonio Moore, 40 of Jonesboro, were arrested later in the day without incident. A traffic stop was performed on their vehicle, which matched the description of the suspect vehicle, and they were found to be in possession of a large amount of cash as well as clothing that matched the description of the suspect on scene.
