Starbucks is coming to Hilltop! The new, free-standing, drive through only store will be located beside Fat City at the signalized corner of Highway 49 N and Airport Road.
“The Hilltop area is experiencing the most development activity since NEA Baptist announced its new medical system campus. This site sits at the market’s only true signalized intersection until the Farville Curve and is the most strategic location in the area for drive through coffee,” said Joshua Brown, Haag Brown Development Principal
Haag Brown Development has expanded the highly recognized coffee brand across Arkansas. This will be the 3rd Starbucks the company has brought to Jonesboro alone within the past decade.
After years of searching for the best real estate in the Hilltop area, this 0.64 acre site was purchased earlier this month by Haag-Brown Development, LLC from Phillips Investments & Construction, Inc. Haag Brown would like to thank the Phillips family, who have been long time partners and portfolio clients, for opening up this prime property for development. The project would not be possible without all their hard work behind the scenes, HB said in a release.
The site shares the intersection with several other national brands including Burger King, Dairy Queen, Arby’s and Advanced Auto Parts, lending it exposure to over 35,000 cars per day.
For this project, Starbucks will be implementing its newest drive through only concept that features a walk-up window and outdoor seating. The efficient design features Starbucks’ iconic modern coffee shop vibe with cool, state-of-the-art architecture.
“We are pretty excited that one of the largest corporations in the world is building their most innovative prototype for drive through only stores here in Jonesboro. Starbucks is really going all-in to get customers conveniently in-and-out of their drive-through. This investment in Jonesboro is a prime example of that,” said Joshua Brown, Haag Brown Development Principal
Construction of the building is set to begin soon.
