A man was arrested after wrecking into several vehicles Tuesday morning in downtown Jonesboro.
JPD officers were on scene of an accident with injury that resulted from a suspect who was driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The information was released in a post to social media by the department.
After the suspect saw patrol vehicles in his area, the suspect began driving very erratically and hit several vehicles before he wrecked out and fled on foot.
Officers quickly caught and detained the suspect.
Police asked the public to avoid the downtown area around 9:40 AM.
