
A report on 12/24 indicated a trailer had been stolen from a work site at the 4700-block of Antosh Circle between 12/10 and 12/21.
A home was burglarized between 12/22 and 12/24 at the 100-block of Rogers Street in Jonesboro. A gun was also stolen.
Sometime after 10 AM at the 1700-block of Old Greensboro Road, a camper was stolen. It was a white 2012 Coachman Clipper. A black Chevy Tahoe was the suspect vehicle.
A residential burglary was reported on Christmas eve between 4:45 PM and 8:48 PM at the 2200-block of Circle Drive. A firearm was stolen du ring the burglary.
A stabbing was reported between 8 PM and 9:12 PM at the 1700-block of James Street. The report indicated a 38-year-old male, Justin D. Hall, allegedly stabbed a 24-year-old male, Kevion Maurice Black. The victim had a 2 cm cut just to the left of his belly button. However, Hall was said to have sustained a shoulder injury that he was also treated for. The report indicated some type of fight may have broken out between the two and did not indicate any arrests, although much was masked.
A suspect from Crittenden County at St. Bernard’s Behavioral Health netted himself at least one felony battery charge for allegedly attacking a medical professional who sustained injuries to his face, cuts and bruising. Another medical professional sustained injuries to the lip and mouth area. Nicholas Moses, 39, of West Memphis, was the suspect who was arrested.
A 16-year-old was arrested for vehicle theft after quick work by officers following a report of a stolen vehicle. The incident happened around 1:30 AM near the intersection of Belt and Scott on Christmas day, 12/25. The teen was arrested for fleeing and felony theft but the case will be turned over to juvenile court.
A police report states that a woman was beaten severely on Christmas day in Jonesboro. The suspect was her boyfriend. It happened after 1:30 AM at the 1800-block of Kathleen Street. Jeremy Burns, 27, of Jonesboro, was arrested for felony second degree battery and is being held as of Monday morning in Craighead County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond. The incident report said the 31 year old female victim had a completely swollen shut eye, swollen lip, entire left side of her face swollen, cut, and bloody, and pain in her chest and back. A 5-year-old child was listed as witness to the incident. Burns also allegedly had fictitious tags at the time of his arrest.
A residential burglary was reported between 8 PM 12/24 and around the same time on Christmas day at the 900-block of Creath Avenue. A suspect gained entry through the front door and stole a 55-inch TV.
Another burglary was reported on Christmas day, this one after 11 PM at the 700-block of Southwest Drive. A suspect entered an unlock door and stole a television.
Two reports of vehicle break-ins were filed.
- Between 12/23 at 7 PM and 12/24 around noon at the 800-block of Perry Drive
- Between midnight and 1:10 PM on 12/25 at the 500-block of State Street
