
JONESBORO, Ark. – NEA Report has obtained the incident report detailing the shooting Saturday night in Jonesboro that sent multiple victims to the hospital with gunshot injuries.
The incident happened between 8 PM and 8:20 PM at the Northside Ball Park, 502 N Bridge Street, according to the incident report released by JPD. The suspect, an 18-year-old male whose name is masked, fired multiple shots, hitting three and possibly grazing a fourth, JPD Public Information Specialist Sally Smith said.
Two of the gunshot injuries were detailed: A 20-year-old male was shot in the left side of the face and nose. An 18-year-old was shot in the right forearm, with the shot being a through-and-through. The third injury was not specified. The fourth victim, Smith said, went to the hospital the following day with a graze wound. None of the injuries were life-threatening, the report said.
JPD officers were dispatched at about 8:10 PM. Officer Michael Steele arrived and began clearing out bystanders and locating witnesses while searching for the crime scene. Multiple scenes were located in the parking lot and officers began to mark a large amount of evidence.
Police were told one of the possible suspects was driving a silver Hummer. Additionally, a witness believed a suspect with a green hat on was inside of the vehicle.
On Tuesday, JPD’s Smith told NEA Report that all of the victims had been treated and released from the hospital.
