Overnight burglary at Gee Street Pawn in Jonesboro

JPD and ATF are investigating an overnight Burglary at Gee Street Pawn, a release posted to Facebook said

The Jonesboro Police Department responded to an early morning alarm at Gee Street Pawn. Around 3:40 a.m. officers arrived on the scene and discovered the business had been broken into. The suspects gained entry to the business and attempted to steal multiple handguns and other items. Patrol Officers were able to recover several of the guns at the scene.

There are still 11 handguns unaccounted for in the business’ inventory.

The Jonesboro Police and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are working together with this investigation.

  1. What did JPD expect when they stopped enforcing the curfew? The criminal element dominates Jonesboro, COVID19 did nothing to change that.
