Arkansas State student shot by unknown assailant early Wednesday

JONESBORO, Ark. – A press release from Arkansas State University said the campus was placed on lockdown early Wednesday after a shooting incident.

Here is the press release:

Early Wednesday morning, April 8, an Arkansas State student was shot in the leg by an unknown assailant in the parking lot of Red Wolf Den Apartments.  The student was transported and is being treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening wound.
