Free health screens on July 1 in Harrisburg

NYITCOM To Offer Free Health Screening in Harrisburg on July 1

JONESBORO, AR – New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine – Arkansas – in collaboration with UAMS, St. Bernards Medical Center and Arkansas State University – will host a free health screening in Harrisburg on Monday, July 1. The event will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Poinsett County Library located at 200 N. East Street.

There is no cost for the screenings and no appointments are necessary. All ages are invited to attend and no insurance is required.

Participants will receive free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and life satisfaction and will receive educational material about each condition. The event will also promote community services to inform attendees of the resources that are available to them.
