JONESBORO, Ark. – The South Caraway Road Widening Advisory Committee will hold its initial meeting at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, in City Council chambers at the Municipal Center, 300 S. Church St.
The city is proposing to widen Caraway Road from Parker Road to Fox Meadow Lane.
The committee will rank engineering firms interested in designing the road widening project. It is the first project resulting from a new city ordinance setting procedures for the selection of professional service providers.
Tuesday’s committee meeting is for organizational purposes only. Members will be able conduct their reviews and scoring on their own. Interviews of finalists will be open to the public.
