
JONESBORO – The Department of Music at Arkansas State University will present the A-State Percussion Ensemble in concert on Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center’s Riceland Hall.
The A-State Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Craig Collison, associate professor of music.
The program includes “Omphalo Centric Lecture” by Nigel Westlake; “Catching Shadows” by Ivan Trevino featuring Alex Washam and Andrew Coleman on marimba; “Table Talk” by Alyssa Weinberg; and “Fandango 13″ by Michael Burritt.
Percussion Ensemble members are Andrew Coleman of Colt, Timothy Gilbee of Bald Knob, Timothy Haney of Benton, Joshua Huffstutler of Paragould, Hannah Irby of Saltillo, Miss.; Parker Long of Jonesboro, Jesse Lyons of Paragould, and Alex Washam of Jonesboro.
