JONESBORO, Ark. – A series of ominous text messages circulating across social media Thursday night should be ignored, not shared, and considered not credible, according to the Jonesboro Police Department.
JPD made a post on Facebook at 8:41 PM Thursday saying they were made aware of a possible situation at Nettleton Schools. However, police say they conducted a “thorough investigation” and determined “NO credible threat” to be substantiated.
“JPD and school officials are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of students and staff. All students are encouraged to attend school tomorrow as scheduled.” – The Jonesboro Police Department
