BONO, Ark. – Two people were killed in a tragic accident Thursday afternoon near Bono.

The accident happened at 2:51 PM Thursday on U.S. 63 at the intersection of Country Road 398. A 2005 Dodge 4X4 truck, driven by Jerod McHenry-Justice, 27, of Warrensburg, Mo., was traveling southbound on U.S. 63. At the same time, a white 2017 Ford truck hauling a grain trailer, driven by Terry Greer, 39, of Trumann, was traveling north on the highway.

The report from Arkansas State Police says the accident happened when the Dodge crossed the center line, impacting the driver side of the Ford.

Both drivers perished in the accident. One other was injured. Another vehicle was also damaged in the accident.

Next of kin was notified, police reported. Weather conditions were clear and the road conditions listed as dry at the time of the wreck.
