Izard County deputies stay busy with 21 arrests

MELBOURNE, Ark. – The Izard County Sheriff called it a busy week, yet again.

Here is this week’s arrest roundup from Izard County Sheriff’s Department.

On June 13, Kami Danielle Lancaster, 43, of Hardy, was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson for theft of property, a class A misdemeanor. This accusation stems from a theft from the Violet Hill store. Lancaster is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center on a $500 cash bond. Lancaster is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 13. 

On June 12, Tina K. Courtney, 50, of Pineville was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for failure to appear. Courtney is incarcerated In the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $500 bond. Courtney is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on June 26.

On June 9, Gregory Allen Jones, 38, of Melbourne, was arrested by Geoffrey Watts for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $3,370. Bond. Jones is scheduled to appear in Izard County District court in Melbourne on July 13.

On June 6, Levi Sheridan Miller, 22, of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for Domestic Battering. Miller was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1,120 bond. Miller is scheduled to appear in Izard District Court on July 13.

On June 8, Melissa Marie Williams, 47, of Melbourne, was arrested by Sgt. Mark Simino for theft of property. Williams was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1,000 bond. Williams is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 13.

On June 7, Martin Bentley Goodman, 21, of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for residential Burglary. Goodman was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $50,000 bond. Goodman is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on June 27.

On June 10, Hanna Brooke Grady, 27, of Melbourne, was arrested by Cpl. Richard Williams for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Grady is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 15.

On June 11, Ciera Raelyn Shuman, 23, of Lewis, Delaware was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for possession of Marijuana and DWI. Shuman was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $2,070 bond. Shuman is scheduled to appear in Izard County District court in Melbourne on July 13.

On June 11, Dustin D. Turner, 18, of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Jaden Whitfield for criminal mischief 1st degree and purchase or possession of liquor by minor. Turner was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $320 cash bond. Turner is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 13.

On June 11, Bryce L. Lester, 19, of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Jaden Whitfield for criminal mischief 1st degree and purchase or possession of intoxicating liquor by minor. Lester was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $320 cash bond. Lester is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 13.

On June 15, Frankie Jo Clayton, 50, was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for criminal trespass and failure to pay fines. Clayton was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a resonance bond to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 29.

On June 13, Lewie Elmer Branscum, 31, of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Jaden Whitfield for theft of property and also has a parole hold from Probation and parole. Branscum is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Branscum is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on June 27.

On June 16, Lane Keith Morris, 18, of Salem, was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for possession of a controlled substance, no vehicle licenses and carrying a prohibited weapon. Morris is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in Lieu of a $2,635 bond. Morris is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 11.

On June 15, Frank Edward Pockrus, 35, of Evening Shade, was arrested by Lt. Charlie Melton for reckless driving and failure to render aid. Pockrus was booked in the Izard County Detention Center released on a resonance bond and given an August 10 court date in Izard County District Court in Melbourne.

On June 15, Katie Ann Havens, 55, of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for criminal trespass, terroristic threatening 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia. Havens is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $980 bond. Havens is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 27.

On June 16 Alicia Nicole Harris, 31, of Wideman, was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for domestic battering 3rd degree, endangering the welfare of minor 3rd degree and criminal mischief 1st degree. Harris was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a resonance bond. Harris is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 27.

On June 18, Brian E Leonard, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson for public Intox. Leonard was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a resonance bond. Leonard is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 27.

On June 16 Jeremy Dewayne Willis, 21, of Viola, was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for domestic battering. Willis was given a resonance bond and is scheduled to appear in Izard County District court in Horseshoe Bend on July 11.

On June 18, Travis Allen Cagle, 38, was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for Domestic Battering and endangering the welfare of a minor. Cagle was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a resonance bond. Cagle is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 27.

On June 17, Shayla Byrlene White, 37, of Sage, was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for possession of marijuana and public intoxication. White was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1,470 bond. White is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 27.

On June 17 Miranda Michelle Cowgill age 32 of Viola was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for possession of marijuana and public intoxication. Cowgill was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1470 bond. Cowgill is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne in July 27.
