Single-Vehicle Crash Kills Calico Rock Driver On State Highway 5

A preliminary Arkansas State Police summary says Myra Fay Terry of Calico Rock was killed when her SUV left the roadway in a curve and struck a tree on State Highway 5 on Sept. 26, 2026.

CALICO ROCK, Ark. — On Sept. 26, 2026, Arkansas State Police said Myra Fay Terry, 68, of Calico Rock, was killed when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on State Highway 5 near Churchill Street.

According to the preliminary ASP summary, Terry was driving a 2009 Kia Sportage southbound on State Highway 5 when the vehicle left the roadway in a curve, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree. Weather was reported as cloudy and the road surface dry.

Arkansas State Police listed TRP JR JARVI 228 as the investigating officer. This account is based on a preliminary Arkansas State Police crash summary and should not be considered a final determination of fault.
