Izard County transports three to ADC

MELBOURNE, Ark. – Three area residents were taken to Arkansas Department of Corrections by the Izard County Sheriff’s Department recently.

Three inmates were transported to the Arkansas Department of Corrections on June 8 according to the press release from Sheriff Jack Yancey. Robert Jefferson Harris, 31, of Wynne, Joseph Edward Brown, 26, of Melbourne, and Randall Scott Lipford, 53, of Oxford, were all transported to ADC for various charges on June 8.


On June 6, Carol Ann Baum, 48, of Batesville was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson for failure to pay fines. Baum was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $522.98 bond. Baum is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 15.

On June 6, Mathew Edward Gauger, 30, of Gamaliel, was arrested by Sgt. Mark Simino for failure to pay fines. Gauger was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1150 cash bond. Gauger is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 29.

On June 7, Levi Sheridan Miller, 22, of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for third degree domestic battery. Miller is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center. Miller is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 13.

On June 6, James Woodrow Cook, 75, of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for criminal trespassing. Cook is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center. Cook is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on June 29.

On June 7, Jill Ann Hinkley, 56, of Batesville, was arrested by Deputy Geoffery Watts for failure to pay fines. Hinkley was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center with a $315 cash bond. Hinkley is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on June 29.

On June 7, Sherman Gayle Horner, 55, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Mike Smith for second degree terroristic threatening, a class A misdemeanor. Horner was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1,000 professional bond. Horner is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 29.

On June 7, April Edna Faye Mcdole, 29, of Jordan, was arrested by Sgt. Mark Simino for contempt of court. Mcdole is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center on a $270 cash bond. Mcdole is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 29.

On June 7, Eric Allen Jackson, 43, of Melbourne was arrested by Deputy Richard Williams for DWI and driving left to center. Jackson is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $990 bond. Jackson is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on July 13.
