BONO, Ark. – A man was found deceased this week in Bono and the circumstances warranted further investigation.
That’s according to Craighead County Sheriff Marty Boyd, who spoke to NEA Report on Wednesday afternoon.
The initial call came into Bono Police Department at 8:50 a.m. Monday morning. Bono authorities responded to 64 County Road 100 to an apartment where a man was found dead. Bono Police Chief Michael Parrish said the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office was contacted immediately to take over the scene and investigation.
Dane Nathanial, 36, was found dead in the apartment, the sheriff said Wednesday. His body was sent to the State Crime Lab for autopsy and further investigation into the cause of his death.

Boyd did not say the circumstances were necessarily suspicious but he did say it warranted further investigation.
Nathanial’s Facebook profile said he lived in Walnut Ridge but was originally from Rockford, Illinois. Friends and loved ones have expressed sadness about his death. His final Facebook post was at 12:54 a.m. on May 21, a little over 24 hours before his body was found.
