Search warrant yields drug arrests in Izard Co.

MELBOURNE, Ark. – Authorities in Izard County stayed busy last week with several drug arrests.

On March 21, officers of the Izard County Sheriff’s Department and the 16th Judicial Drug Task force executed a search warrant at 139 Court Street.

Jeffery Dewain Ward, 38, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance a class A misdemeanor and was placed on a hold for Baxter County.

Cami Lynn Jones, 43, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia a class A misdemeanor and possession of a controlled substance a class A misdemeanor.

Cody Ray Peppers, 25, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance a class A misdemeanor and possession of a controlled substance a class A misdemeanor.

Ward, Jones and Peppers are to appear in District court in Melbourne on April 27.

On March 23, Donathan Fizer Speak, 42, was arrested for a hot check warrant, a class A misdemeanor. Speak is incarcerated on a $1176.30 cash bond. Speak will appear in Melbourne District court on April 27.

On March 22, Charles Dylan Hodges, 23, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and also had a probation hold. Hodges bonded on a $200 cash bond and will appear in Melbourne District court on April 27. Heather Marie Hodges, 20, was arrested for driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license. Hodges bonded on a $200 cash bond and will appear in Melbourne District Court on April 27.

On March 22, Adam Dale Stacy, 22, was arrested for failure to appear in Izard County court. Stacy has a $1680 cash bond. Stacy is scheduled to appear in criminal court on April 27.

On March 21, Kasey Brianna Seymour, 18, was charged with possession of a controlled substance class A misdemeanor. Seymour has a $1250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Melbourne District court on April 27.

On March 24, Garland Ray Pittman, 54, was arrested for assault in first degree. Pittman posted a $580 cash bond and will appear in Izard county district court on May 4.

On March 26, Kristi Lane Hagan, 35,  was charged with domestic battering. Hagan is scheduled to appear in Izard County District court in Melbourne on April 27,

On March 26, Zabrien Allen Meek, 36, was charged with failure to pay fines. Meek is incarcerated in the Izard County detention center with a $1485 cash bond. Meek is scheduled to appear in Izard County district court in Melbourne on April 6.
