Woman arrested for drug charges in Izard County

MELBOURNE, Ark. – A woman finds herself accused of selling drugs in the presence of a minor in Izard County, a news release said. 

On February 24, 2017, a warrant was issued for Shandal Leigha Hamrick, 41, for the offences of:

  • Possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver Methamphetamine a class C felony
  • Possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, Oxycodone a class C felony
  • Possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver Clonazepam a class D felony
  • Possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver marijuana a class D felony
  • Manufacture of a controlled substance, Marijuana a class A misdemeanor
  • Possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia with the purpose to process prepare, test, analyze, pack, repack, store, contain, or conceal methamphetamine or cocaine, a class B felony
  • Use or possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia with the purpose to plant propagate, cultivate, grow, harvest, manufacture, compound, covert, produce, process, prepare, test, analyze, pack, repack, store, contain, or conceal any controlled substance not methamphetamine or cocaine a class D felony.
  • felon in possession of a firearm a class D felony
  • hindering apprehension a class D felony
  • endangering the welfare of a minor second degree (two counts) a class A misdemeanor.

On February 27, Deputy Mark Simino and Deputy Dennis Teirnan arrested Hamarik on the warrant. Hamarick received additional charges of

  • Possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine a class D felony
  • Possession of a controlled substance methadone a class D felony
  • possession of a controlled substance marijuana a class A misdemeanor
  • use or possession with the purpose to use drug paraphernalia to ingest methamphetamine a class D felony, at the time of arrest.

Hamrick was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center on a $40,000 bond.


On March 3, 2017 Tori Leann Reiley age 39, was arrested for Count 1.Domestic Battery third degree. Count 2 endangering the welfare of minor second degree. Count 3.Fleeing on foot and Count 4.Disorderly conduct. Reiley is being held in Izard County Detention Center on a $2180 bond. Reiley has an April 6 court date in Melbourne District Court.


On February 28 Joshua Coley age 36 was arrested and charged with Count 1.Domestic Battering Count 2. Endangering the welfare of minor two counts. Coley was incarcerated in the Izard Detention Center with a $1500 cash bond and has a March 23, court date in Izard County District Court.
