JPD needs help finding this woman

JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro police are looking for this woman and need help identifying her.

The video, from First Community Bank, shows the suspected woman walking in and handling business, then leaving. She’s allegedly trying to withdraw $2,000 from the account of a woman whose wallet was stolen earlier in the day.

The incident report filed with JPD begins around noon on Thursday, Jan. 26, when an 82-year-old Swifton woman made a purchase at Dillard’s at The Mall at Turtle Creek in Jonesboro. The woman said she couldn’t remember if she put the wallet in her purse there, or if she lost it when she went to Western Sizzlin’ just down the road.

Somehow, a bank card from the wallet ended up in the hands of the suspect – the woman in the video. She then attempted to withdraw $2,000 from the account at Simmon’s Bank, the report states. She later tried again at First Community Bank.

JPD provided a subpoena from the prosecutor’s office to acquire the full video, which was released today to NEA Report.

Who is this woman?
